50 Cent drops $100K on a private Toys ‘R’ Us shopping spree for his son

Nothing says the holidays more than renting out an entire Toys ‘R’ Us store and letting your kid go hog-wild on a private shopping spree.

That’s what rapper 50 Cent, 44, did for his 7-year-old son, Sire, the weekend before Christmas.

The star posted a video to Twitter showing the boy excitedly grabbing gifts in a frenzy of spending after being told to help himself at the chain’s new Paramus, NJ, store.

“All of it’s yours, really, so you might as well pick out whatever you want, right?” 50 Cent instructed his son with his now-ex-partner, actress Daphne Joy.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, paid the chain $ 100,000 to close the store while his younger child did the festive trolley dash, according to E! News.

The pricey — and some might argue, indulgent — Christmas gesture was clearly a big surprise for Sire, who is shown choosing boxes of Lego sets, playing with a “Star Wars” lightsaber and hugging Geoffrey, the Toys ‘R’ Us giraffe mascot.

“When I asked my Dad for the ‘WHOLE Toys R Us Store’ for Christmas I didn’t think he would actually do it, but he did,” noted a post on the Instagram pages for the kid and his mom, Daphne Joy. “Thank you Daddy! Best Christmas Ever!”

A decal on the floor of the store — located in the Westfield Garden State Plaza — read “Sire’s Toys R Us” and featured a caricature of the second-grader.

“Christmas came early for Sire lol,” King said in her Instagram story. “Daddy got Sire all the LEGOs, but not just all the LEGOs, all of Toys R’ Us.

“And what do you say to Daddy? Say, ‘I love you!’ Sire’s in utter shock right now and disbelief.”

Fans of 50 Cent reacted with admiration on Twitter.

“You are so great 💖 can’t imagine how great that felt doing that for your baby 💖💖,” wrote one supporter.

Another posted, “The greatest gift a father to give his kids and that’s a better life than he had. 50, you 💯!!!!!”

But at least one realist said, “You could of shared some of all those toys to the less fortunate boy or girls that are not as lucky some kids don’t get any gifts vs one that can get all that the want! Help the needy!!”

Sire’s Christmas shopping spree may not even be the most extravagant of the season: Kris Jenner, 64, surprised granddaughter Stormi with a backyard playhouse bigger than most New Yorkers’ apartments, a vlog from the 1-year-old’s mom, Kylie Jenner, 22, revealed Monday.

Perhaps 50 Cent and Jenner should have taken a leaf out of the book of fellow celeb Cardi B, who was recently spotted shelling out $ 5,000 on gifts for underprivileged children.

TMZ reported that the 27-year-old singer and actress bought everything from toy cars to dollhouses for the lucky recipients during her charitable expedition to a Target store in Miami.
